Tomlifemodel by Simon Dunstan

I posed for Simon Dunstan, an artist from south London, who had been commissioned by a private collector to paint a nude male portrait to hang as a companion piece to a print of  Lucien Freud’s “Benefits Supervisor”, below.

The pose was set in consultation with the lady who commissioned it, who attended the first session.

We worked at the Dulwich Art Group, which Simon helps to run at The old Scout Hut, Greendale, Dulwich SE22 8TX. The group is open to artists of all abilities, with help available for those who want it. Models are usually booked for three sessions, one a week, holding a long pose and there are other sessions offered too. See the website at:
